Rest In Peace my friend. Semper fi brother

Semper Fi, Rusty.

I served with Golf Company in Vietnam 1968 and 1969. I am very sad to hear that Russel has past on! We all have carried the burden of memories and I am sure that Russell’s and mine were similar having served at the same time in the same place. God bless your family and Semper Fidelis, Kevin Bolender 2nd Plt, Golf Co. 2nd Bn 1st Marines 68’-69’

A SLOW SALUTE – TO A FELLOW MARINE
THANK YOU - FOR YOUR SERVICE TO OUR COUNTRY. You are one of our heroes. We will remember you always and miss you dearly. Take your Warrior's rest for a duty well done.

RIP my brother in arms. Semper Fi

Rusty will be missed by all our Marines/Corpsman whom he served with 2nd Bn 1st Marines in Vietnam. He will live in their hearts and never will be forgot.

I am so saddened over hearing about the loss of Russ. He was always such a quiet and polite person, and I fondly remember working with him at EPA. My heartfelt condolences to Charlotte and his family. He will be missed by many.
