Not sure what to say?

Russ would surely approve of me becoming a PADI scuba instructor at age 70.

I was simply a patient of Dr. DeJong but want his family to know that he did in fact touch the lives of those who knew him. All these years later and it seems like yesterday for me, when I had surgery done by him. Very few people in our lives can actually leave behind a memory of themselves and Dr. DeJong did that for me. Often times, time itself lets us believe that people are forgotten and that is not true. I am thankful that I had the privilege of meeting Dr. DeJong and even more...

Hard to believe it has been so long since Russ left this earth to live in Heaven. He was a wonderful doctor, mentor, and he loved his family so much. I enjoyed working with him and GYN/OB for many years. And not only that, but he was my doctor. I know that he is missed by not only his family, but his friends and his patience and coworkers. I have always held Russ in the highest esteem and always will. Continued sympathy for his family and all that knew him. We will meet again someday in...

Hey Russ, I just got off the phone with mom. We each shared a happy memory about you. Mine was when you took me and my friends out to dinner after soccer in boston and you got to meet some of my friends for the first time. Mom's was how happy and appreciative of your vision for the land and how you made it a beautiful area for you and her to live and enjoy.

So glad to know and work with Russ at the SVH Clinic.

Thinking of the doctor today. Dr. Dejong was an outstanding physician. Because of him, us women were finally heard. He performed a few surgeries on me, for whoch I am forever grateful. Most modern doctors don't hold a candle to him. So sad he went so soon. My 5 daughters missed out on the best gynecologist. God bless.

I worked with Russ for 9 years but knew him a lot longer as he was also my doctor. What a wonderful man he was. So sweet, kind and caring of his patients and others. Sarah and Mark...your dad always spoke highly of the two of you, he was so proud of both of you. Janetha, we worked together on occasion with Dr Alto....you were such a kind person too. I'm so sorry for all of you that Russ was taken away so soon. I know he is in Heaven and watching over his family. I think of him often and all...

Russ, there is a poker game at Kenny´s tonight and I know you will be there, bluffing and winning as usual...

You were so special, and I still miss you . I hope everyone else misses you too; which will allow your life´s mission to continue See you soon .......
