Not sure what to say?

Many great memories with Russ.

Dillman, i still think of you all the time. How i wish i could still see you.. I have no one to go to know when i want to play thumb war, no one who makes me smile or laugh like you did . you were like the father i never had. I miss when u used to call me banana, or call me brandy out of no where.. I miss u lots.

Mr Dillman was a special favorite when I was his student at FHS, and on our trip to Washington DC. We still talk about him to this day and tell our daughter stories about him--how he looked so much like Richard Dryfuss when he was here in town filming Mr Holland's Opus at Grant High. He was a good sport about his doppelgänger. Our heartfelt wishes go to his family; he was a special teacher that we will remember always.

Missing you like crazy today Bro, reading all these entries from people you touched...I love you so much. Hope you're having fun on the other side!! your baby sister, Kass

I just learned of Russ' passing a day after the ceremony. I'm sorry I missed the opportunity to celebrate his life with you and all his other friends and colleagues from our days together at Franklin. I know that he was important in the lives of his many students and fellow educators. He made the world a better place and will be missed.

Russ--- a colleague, educator, coach, mentor, golfer, prankster, intellect, partier, devoted father, traveler-- all these things and so much more. Your physical presence will and is sorely missed, but your positive impact on all who met and spent any time at all with you will remain a high point in our lives. Our heartfelt condolences to your beautiful family & those friends who are members of your extended family...

To his family,I'm very sorry. We were neighbors on Clark Street, but lost touch
when they moved. We all had lots of fun as youngsters. He will be missed.

Our deepest sympathy to Russ' family. Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.
