RUSHVILLE, IL - Dr. Russell R. Dohner, 90, passed away peacefully at 2:45 a.m., Aug. 7, 2015, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville, Ill.

When my Son was a year old and had pneumonia and was in the hospital in Rushville, Dr. Dohner came in during the night and rocked my Son in a rocking chair, staying he was concerned about him! An awesome man, his humanity was beyond angelic! Honored to have known this wonderful man!

I was living with my family in a nearby town In The 1970's. My family had Dr Dohner as our physician and his generosity was evident. When I couldn't pay a bill for as I recall about $11. (Perhaps included more than the $2 visit I was told ,to pay whenever I could.
I never had the money, but now will donate to Culbertson Memorial Hospital in his memory. A true.legacy.
