Not sure what to say?

Hello Uncle Russ, I met you once in the 1980s, when you visited your brother Vernon (my dad) in Lancaster, California. I regret not trying to look you up sooner, as I was stationed in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, from 2014 to 2017. My wife and I actually drove up to Elmira, NY, to unsuccessfully locate my late grandfather and grandmother's (Macy & Ruth Dunbar) grave. I could have spent time with you before you left this world... I will remember the few days you spent with us way back then......

I worked many years with Russ at Emhart Powers. A nicer person, I never met

So sorry to hear about Russ. He was always wonderful, and my dad and him had a lot of fun together. All of my sisters also loved and adored Russ.. We lived across the street for many years while growing up in Wellsburg. He will be missed. Maiden name is Van Duzer. Tommy, your dad was a wonderful person, I will never forget his laugh.

He was a great neighbor and friend to our family. Sorry for your loss.

Very blessed to have Russell as our brother-in-law. He had an amazing smile and his sense of humor was the best. We will see you in heaven Russell. Love you Sue. Our prayers are with you all.

God's gates were open and waiting for his good and faithful soldier.

My thoughts are with you all as you grieve and remember. God Bless.

He was a great gentle man, true Christian, and inspiration. I am very sorry for your loss! May you find comfort in knowing he is with his Savior and that you will meet again on that Glorious day !

With my deepest sympathy,
