Russell J. Flanagan

I had the pleasure of meeting Russ during the summer of 2003. He possessed genuine personality traits that we all could look up to. Russ was real and he took a lot of pride in his work. I can honestly say there was never a dull moment in our conversations. Another reason it was easy to bond with him was because we were both raised in NJ and we both loved the Yankees. Like many others, I will miss him dearly, but I'll be smiling whenever his name is mentioned or a Flanagan story is told.

I got the chance to meet Russ a little over two years ago when I moved into my apartment at Fox Meadows. He was one of the first people that I talked to when I moved in. He was quick to introduce himself and welcome me to the community. He was always very friendly and would never forget to say hello when he saw me. I regret that I never got the chance to know him a little more.
