It is with deep sadness that I accept the homegoing of my dear friend, Russell Foster. I have known Russell for many years, and will miss his joyful presence. Russell always had a good disposition, and tried in every way to make Dallas a more humane and loving city in which to live.
His pioneering efforts in the field of social and civil rights will indeed be remembered. I pray that God will continue to bless his entire family through their hour of sadness.
