I just learned of Russell's passing. I worked with Russell for many years in WLA. He was a very smart, charismatic and enjoyed everything life had to offer. I had a classic 1969 Buick Electra convertible. He was me driving it to work one day and told me that he wanted to buy the car at my price. I did not personally know Russell but as my namesake I had tracked his progress online for the last few years. I was so saddened to hear of his passing in March (3rd Adar II) in tragic circumstances. Reading the tributes, I can see the world is a much lesser place without him. May his memory be for an everlasting blessing.

I am deeply saddened by this news. My heart and prayers go out to Russell's family. I will never forget the time he told me, Life is certain, death is not and to live my life to the fullest without fear and regret. He was one-of-a-kind and I know he will be missed dearly.
