Not sure what to say?

Rus I am so sorry to hear this horrible news. I am just finding out about it. I randomly googled you several days ago, and came across your obituary. I´d like to think you guided me there. First I was shocked, then my heart sank. We had a great couple of years together. You will always be like a super hero to me, and this emoji () will always be YOU! I will always think of you when I have a touch decision to make haha. It´s a strange feeling I have but I know now will always be safe...

Great American Hero and Ultimate Warrior. RIP Brother. NSDQ!!! Jay Voorhees

RIP Russell Haslam...you lived life to the fullest and had a heart as big as Texas. We had lots of fun together in our high school days and most of all put our faith in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. I look forward to seeing you in heaven and we continue to pray for God's comfort for your family and friends. God bless you all and may His peace and love cover you from head to toe!

See you on Fiddlers Green brother. Rest in peace. God Bless.

I first met Russell in our Air Evac new hire class in 2019. I remember how helpful he was to those of us who hadn't flown with night vision goggles in a very long time. He was a great guy, fun to be around, and very down to earth despite his breadth of experience in combat that very few of us will ever understand. His loss is devastating to the aviation community and I pray for God's peace upon his family, friends, and fellow warriors everywhere.
