Not sure what to say?

Russ was a wonderful human being. I very much respected him. I had the opportunity to work with him at the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. I remember his words one day when he came to a board meeting. I had been struggling with my weight, but was able to loose 25 pounds. When he saw me, these were his words "wow you have lost weight, you are an inspiration to me, that we can do it if we try " Thank you Russ I will never forget that. He actually was my inspiration for those positive words.

Russell was a well-grounded top athlete and a friendly classmate at BC. It was sad to hear he had passed. BC's football coach made sure his athletes did not slack off in their education simply because of their athletic skills and Russell's ability to focus and excel in his career beyond his athleticism makes us Eagles proud. May his soul find peace in the Lord's bosom. May Brenda and their offspring be comforted as they carry on his torch.

I knew Russell while a student at Boston College and he was a football player there. He was always upbeat and friendly to everyone. My friend Olivia and I would sometimes meet him on campus and I remember him always being friendly and having something nice to say to us! He is gone too young. My condolences. My thoughts and prayers are with Russ and his family. RIP Russ...always a "BC Eagle."
