Not sure what to say?

We can't believe it's been a year already. So many times we think of you and wish you were still with us. It's tough going to the Bears games and you not being there with Tom or with me. We miss you very much. RIP friend. John and Sylvia Linn

I was so sorry to hear of Russ's passing. He was great to work with and always had a smile on his face (even when he didn't like what I was telling him). Such a nice guy and so proud of his family.

We all deserve a parent who we can count on, and, on occasion, we can depend on to "make everything OK." Russ and my mom were those parents. However, it is safe to say that, when my mom married Russ when I was 12, we didn´t always see "eye to eye." I can´t go back into my prepubescent brain and decipher what was going on, but I can now say that I may have not always been a perfect angel. I regret not fully understanding and appreciating him, until much later. Looking back, I now, not...

Much Love Being Sent To You Today Wendi. Russell Was A True Gentle Soul, Always Kind .

My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Russ, a good man and family friend that left us too soon. I remember as a kid he took me and Jeremy to Bears and Senators games. As an adult I have fond memories of him being co-host to the best holiday parties and being so supportive when the Colardo family was going through some tough times. We were lucky to know him and he will be missed.

What a beautiful tribute you wrote Wendie. Russ will be missed dearly. He was one of the kindest and gentle men we've known. He never complained through all of his recent health issues. Russ was a great friend and will never be forgotten. We are so happy to have been able to spend time with both of you. We're here if you need anything.

We are so sad for your loss Wendy, Russ was a total sweetheart.

I remember him as very soft spoken and kind, and for his love of Penn State. My condolences to Wendy and family.
