Dear Patricia, Beth, Rusty and Doug:

Judith and I regret that we had tickets to fly to New York on Saturday, the 16th; and therefore missed the funeral. However, we informed a number of people with Davidson ties.

Russell was a bedrock of character and service to the community, in which his interest was just as strong after his illness took its toll. I shall miss the political discussions with him.

Our deepest sympathy, but also rejoicing in a life well...

Dear Beth,
Please know you and your family are in our prayers now and forever. We miss you and hope to hear from you over the holidays. Take care and tell the family we said hello and we are sorry for your loss.
With all our love and greatest sympahty,
Nancy, Moe, Emily and Will Davis

Dear Pat and family, I am so sorry to learn of Russell's passing. I know he will be greatly missed by all. Please accept my sympathy and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Pat and family,
I was greatly saddened to hear of Russell's passing. His overall citizenship was quite awe-inspiring and the support you have shown WDAV all these years I personally thank you for. My thoughts are with you.

Please accept my sincere sympathy. The Knox family land was adjoining my grandfathers land which is now River Run . That tells you I've known Russell and all the family all my life. He will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to you ,Pat and your children. I have been thru this and I know a little of what you are feeling. May God bless you and comfort you

Dear Pat and family,
My thoughts and prayers have been and are with each of you. Russell was a wonderful man who fought a valiant fight these past years.
I shall truly miss my friend.
With deepest sympathy,
Carol Lindsey (nurse from The Pines)

Pat and Family, we heard of Russell's passing today and we want you to know we are thinking about you. Russell was a great man and we all had respect for him.
