Not sure what to say?

I have so many great memories of my dear friend Russ. I started working with him back in 1982 at Ross Labs, and since I was a transplant from Chicago, Russ quickly became a surrogate father to me in Columbus. A few random memories of Russ:

- My wife and I used to make homemade bread and butter pickles, and the first year that we did it we had more pickles than Ball jars, so the last load went into a large mayonnaise jar that I gave to Russ at work the next day. The day after that...

We are all getting to that age. We savor all the memories of the travel group. We are praying for you and your family. Come see us on the farm.

I REMEMBER A SUPER , SMART, LOVEABLE GUY. HE WILL BE MISSED BUT THOUGHT OF OFTEN. LOVE IVY

I met Russ about 5 years ago. We palyed lots of card games together and I taught him Majiang also. He's such a smart and nice person. And I truly miss him!

Hi Grandma!!!!!!!!!!!! Just wanted you to know I was reading this! It has helped me a lot to read these stories :) miss you already!

I met Russ when I joined the plant engineering department at Ross Labs back in 1983. He took me under his wing and taught me everything he could about the plant. He was always there to lend a hand or answer a question. I will always remember his infectious smile and positive attitude. I remember seeing him at one of the retiree luncheons a couple years ago, and he was still the same Russ I remember from when I started. He was a good friend and I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers...

Mrs. Lahut,
You were my first grade teacher at Hawthorne Elementary in Westerville City Schools. You are my "favorite" elementary school teacher! I will always remember your song, "Put Your Name On Your Paper Before You Start To Work." My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Russ had a heart of gold. He always was upbeat and always had a friendly smile. I enjoyed working with Russ at the Columbus Plant and chatting with him at the retiree breakfast. He was a true friend and will be missed.
