Not sure what to say?

I’m so sorry for your loss. Russ was a wonderful guy.

Russ, your presence will be missed in Special Olympics Oregon Clackamas County. I remember when I first met you at track and field practice. You started to take pictures one practice and then printed them and gave them out the next practice. The athletes’ faces would light up when they got a picture of themselves! You would always give the pictures with a big smile soaking in the love from the receiver of the photo. You were so loved!

At bowling practice, you would lay out all...

Russ was a friend of mine in high school, though I hadn't seen him since. He was one of the good guys, even back then. Very kind, treated people well, hard-working athlete, and great student. I would have liked to have known him over the years. I'm sorry for the loss of Russ -- he clearly made this world better. May the memories remain with you during this time we grieve. He will be on my mind.

First of all my deepest sympathy to your family I'm so sorry for your loss. My name is Rona keown madian name Rona Toman is my married name. Russ and I went to high school together he was on the varsity basketball ball team and on varsity track team. He was a great Athlete in high school always gave it all he was impressive to watch. I think my most funniest memory of Russ is that we had Biology class together one year and he was my partner. I think he probably would of wished he had someone...

Russ's daughter Kelly was my Special Olympics Bocce Ball unified partner for a couple of years. Whenever I saw him at competitions, while he was taking pictures, he would say Hi to me and then call Kelly on his phone, so I could say hi and talk to her. He was always a very nice man. I will miss him.

It was a pleasure to get to know Russ through Special Olympics Oregon. What a supporter he was. Russ supported the athletes at every practice and event. I was the recipient of many photographs that Russ took of the athletes and many volunteers. Russ was never short on encouragement to all. Thank you Russ, you were a good man and will be missed.
