I just wanted to share the little story of how I met Russ. :)

I met him my first year as a teacher with AASD (2001). I had just moved to and purchased a home in the area and asked our building engineer if he knew anyone that could install a water heater. He gave me Russ' name, and hence I emailed him. Now not knowing Russ at the time, I was unaware that he was not a fan of using technoloy, thus I did not hear back from him via email. To the family of Russ, you have my sincere sympathy. Russ a man with integrity and a mentor to me. He taught me and shared many trade secrets. He was always willing to share experiences and give reasons why and how. As it states in the obituary, David was like he son. David you also have my deepest heartfelt sympathy since Russel was your mentor and a true friend. Russ will be missed by many, including myself. We only have memories to share to continue his legacy.
