Not sure what to say?

Russ was my big brother and my defender. When we were kids, he always looked out for me. He was so laid back, he taught me to drive when my Dad gave up in frustration. One of my favorite memories is watching Saturday morning cartoons when we were little and watching The Ghoul when we were older. We shared a house when we were in college and had the best parties. When I traveled for work, he would come and meet me in Vegas and take me to dinner. I like to think of him somewhere up there...

Miss you every day, Russ.

With sincere sympathy on your enormous loss. I thought if my classmate every time I visited my parents gravesite, which is behind Russ' parents. Fond memories from our high school days. Carol O'Connor Suhre

I always remember the "Boy Cave" Russell had in the basement of his home. I especially enjoyed the chemistry set and the neat things it could do to amaze a young cousin(me). As we grew older we shared many fun times at his apartment on the North side of Youngstown. I will truly miss my cousin.

I WORKED A LOT OF YEARS WITH RUSS. SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT HIS PASSING.

I worked with Russ for nearly 20 years, before he retired. He was a kind, unassuming, extremely patient man who took everything in stride. Someone was always seeking his advice/input on something. Every now & then, he'd hide in my lab to escape those in search of him. We'd sit there for hours talking about life. Nothing too deep or serious, but meaningful. He was an inherently good, kind, and gentle man. He will be missed.

A beautiful tribute. Class of 1976 school mate.
