Not sure what to say?

It is a great loss that Dan Reed has created in my life. He was a great and close friend and I will miss him greatly.

I first met Russ while I was a student at Tech in 1961 to 1963. He was a great teacher and made learning fun. His brother Dave was my best friend so I got to know Russ as a friend and mentor over the years. I still think about the inside jokes he played at WHO on Jim and Dwayne. His immitations were perfect. Losing Russ was a very sad thing for me. My thoughts are with you all.

Mr. Odegaard was a great teacher, one I have never forgotten. He could really light up a room with his humor and was always respectful to everyone.
The world lost a great man..

I have thought about Mr. "O" through the years and even reached out to him a while back. Not for anything more just to say "HI" and hear him say one of his jokes you hear a million times. The DesMoines community lost a great leader and a wonderful teacher. I know right now, he is looking down not only at his immediate family, but his extended family of radio and...

My thoughts and prayers with Russ's family. I knew Russ through his wonderful mother, Grandma Van. We were neighbors to Grandma Van, many years ago. What a wonderful family! Lori O. and I were "dance moms" at Carol Tetemeyer's Dance Studios, again that has been a few years ago. Thinking of you and sending my prayers.

Rest in peace Mr.O. You were a great teacher and I never tired of your stories. You will be missed

He made Film Arts one of my favorite classes at North. My condolences to his family.
