Russell David Parker, Sr.

Mr. Russell David Parker, Sr., age 64, of Rome, passed away on Thursday, October 6, at a Rome hospital.

           
Mr. Parker was born in Greenville, SC, on March 23, 1952, son of the late Frank Russell Parker and the late Dorothea Rebecca Johnson Parker.  He was of the Methodist faith.  He was a member of Douglasville Lodge # 289 F. & A. M., was a member of the Boys Scouts of America and was an assistant Troop Leader.  Prior to his retirement, he was a dry cleaning and laundry supply representative with the Phenix Supply Company.

           
Survivors include his wife, Marisue Hall Parker, Rome; 2 sons, Russell David Parker, Jr., and his wife, Mary Elizabeth, and Matthew Lindsay Parker, and his wife, Anna Nicole, all of Woodstock; a sister, Teresa Cauthen, and her husband, Wayne, Rome; 6 grandchildren also survive.

           
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 10, 2016 at 7pm at Woodstock Christian Church, 7700 Highway 92, Woodstock, GA  30189.

           
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made to the Boy Scout Troop #639, 805 Honey Spring Drive, Woodstock, GA  30189.
