Trained with him over our early years. He removed a Malignant Melanoma from my chest wall in 1998. By this time I had known him for 25years. He was quiet but friendly and always enjoyed a good joke. May he rest in peace. Frank J Adcock. III, MD

Dr. Patterson was my doctor/surgeon during my first encounter with breast cancer in 2005. There NEVER was a more kind, understanding, patient, and compassionate physician. I was distraught, navigating an unknown course at the time, and he was a great comfort to me, assuring me it was all going to be o.k. Here I am 20 years later. My condolences to his family and friends. He has a great legacy and will be greatly missed I am sure.
