Russell was my best friend growing up in Braintree, MA. Russell and his family always treated me like a family member. Russell buried my whole family. They don't make them like Russell anymore. His many accomplishments and how he treated people tell that truth. Condolences to the family.

Russ, I was saddened to read today in Lawyers Weekly of your father's recent passing. I cannot remember all of the many funerals arranged and directed by your Dad for my family, but I do (and always will) remember his unfailing kindness and gentleness in each and every instance. I am sure that you miss him dearly.

I had the privilege of working with Mr. Peck in two venues. As a classified ad worker at the Patriot Ledger, I took many obituaries from him by phone. He was always kind, professional and courteous, and his notices were impeccable in their construction and their dignity. As a pastoral associate/leader of song at St. Albert the Great in Weymouth, I provided music for funerals he had arranged. We are very sorry to hear that Mr. Peck passed away. He recently handled the funeral arrangements for our mother in April. We appreciated his help and also his accommodating our personal requests during a most difficult time for our family.
