My mom just shared this with me. :( Can't believe the date--my birthday. I knew him as Ruggy and spent many happy days playing at his house with Cortney and Heather as a little girl. I fondly remember the boats, cars, and wonderfully warm sense of humor. My thoughts are with his family.

My commiserations to the family. I worked on his estate in nantucket for a summer as a stonemason and Dale worked as hard as any of us there. He tore in to any job with all the bustling efficiency of a locomotive. He made a huge impression on me and I had an enormous amount of respect for him. My condolences to all the family.

My 68 Firebird.

What a shame! I only found out about this after seeing the red ZR1 on auction. I`m buying it from the winning bidder. Looking at the IronHorse photo`s I felt the great sadness seeing everything halted midstream. My deepest condolences to the family for such a great loss!

I just today heard of Dale's passing. His confidence in me early in my career helped shape me. I've always looked up to him as a man who understood the importance of making a company feel like a family.
