Wow..I'm sorry for your loss.
I was a classmate and lower brass member of the McDowell marching band with Russ. He was a gem to be around...always a happy guy.

I was a classmate of Russ's at York College School of Nursing Class of 2000. I will always remember his smile and gentle spirit. He was truly an angel on earth.

Such a gentle soul. Russ, you will be missed greatly.

I worked with Russ, also, on 3S and T2. What a wonderful, sweet, kind man Russ was. He had such a great smile and was loved by his patients and co-workers alike. My sincere condolences to the family that he adored so much! May your memories of Russ bring you some comfort during this difficult time.

I too worked with Russ on T2 always smiling and if not that, he would be making you smile!!! we had a lil joke about my back and a tumor that was diagnosed to be growing bigger and bigger each time, all was in fun, and how sadden that he did have to truely fight a battle with his own health, who would ever known, im so sorry Russ, may your higher power guide you above as well as watch over your family in such a time if need, may they forever live on through your wonderful memories you gave...

So sad to hear of Rusty's passing. Remember him as a very sweet and kind guy. I am certain he grew up to be a wonderful man. Fond band memories. May God strengthen his family during such a great loss.
