He played for country clubs, nightclubs and various social events up until he was 95. He entertained his neighbors for years at the clubhouse of his condo in West Palm Beach. Just learned of your father's passing. Russ was my piano teacher for about 8 years - taught me to improvise and helped developed my style. My thoughts are with you at this time.

Russ was my piano teacher when I was a teenager. He was a great teacher and taught me so much. I treasure the music manuscripts where he wrote songs for me to play. Now I am a senior and like him, I also entertain seniors. He was a wonderful man. My condolences.
