Russell Boon Rhea

Having known Russell online for the past twelve months, I finally met him in December last year, and enjoyed every minute spent with him.
I commented to Russell at the time that it strangely felt like I had known him for many years, such was his personable and likeable style, an easy going bloke as we would call him here in Australia.
I returned to Detroit on 19 February only to learn the sad news of his passing the following night and was shattered at the news, we were both looking...

Russell was the first person I had the honor to have met that held the same passion for Detroit as myself. His vision and support, inspired in ways we will all miss.
So many moments I know I will feel the absence of his presence and so cherished are the memories I feel blessed to have. From the swelling pride of showing off a new project home to the way he would seem to absorb a moment of reflection on the architecture and art of our fair city.
