Mrs.Rice and Family: It was my priviledge to enjoy the teaching and ministry of Dr.Rice when he was at Tabernacle Bible College. He was special to my wife and I, we were newly wedded in 1975, and my wife was born, raised and born-again in the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. We soon learned of Dr.Rice's early ministry, and was quite amused discussing the "Deeper Lifers" of the C&MA church. Over these past 30 years of my ministry, I have told the story many times of how Dr. Rice...

My deepest sympathy goes out to the family. I will always remember him as a man who loved God and his church, I will be praying for you all.

Mrs. rice and Family, Our hearts are saddened at the passing of Dr. Rice.He was a wonderful Pastor and we loved him and respected him very much. Dr. Rice always had an uncanny way of appearing at the shop when I needed him to pray with me and needed my Pastor to talk to. He always had time for us and was there when we needed him.We feel very blessed to have known him. Our prayers are with you.

Mrs. Rice & Family, Our hearts are saddened at this time for your loss, but for Dr. Rice, like the song he loved 'We Shall See Jesus', he has seen the face of Jesus. Dr. Rice was our Pastor at Oakwood for 18 years. He was indeed a Pastor...not only preaching God's word, but he loved the people and always took the time to talk and listen even though his schedule was full. He was also a Pastor's Pastor.
