Through the many years that we have known and loved Russ, we have valued our special friendship with him as a genuine gentleman, trusted businessman and friend to educators and students throughout Kentucky. I am so sorry to hear about Russ. He was always such a wonderful person. I can remember my childhood days in Meadowthorpe what a great fatherhood figure he made. My prayers go out to to Beverly, Sherrie, Michael, Brad, Rhonda and little Russell.

As a life-long educator on the high school level, I cannot begin to tell you how fortunate the young people in our schools were to have such a caring individual as Mr. Rivard.
Russ always had time for each and every young person that came to the table.More importantly he made them feel as if their order was the most important one that he was taking from the school.
