Send FlowersROBINSON, Mr. Russell L. "Cherokee", entered into eternal rest on March 8, 2008 at the age of 70. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Burke and Ada Robinson; one son, Wayne; and one sister, Michelle Y. Robinson. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Laura Smith and Glenda Williams; sons, Dwight, Corey, Michael, Larry and Germaine Robinson; 17 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Susie Thompson (Elliott); two aunts, Odell Beale and Wilnette Joyner (Henry); a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; and two devoted friends, Joyce Bland and Jerry Washington. Remains rest at Walter J. Manning Funeral Home, 700 N. 25th St., where the family will receive friends Wednesday (today) from 7 to 8 p.m., and where funeral services will be held Thursday, 1 p.m. Burial Oakwood Cemetery.
