Russ was "one of a kind". I will never forget him. I will miss his sense of humor...sometimes it eluded me until days later. I will miss his advice on various criminal cases. But most of all I will miss him. Russ would be very proud of the Celebration of Life today. My best to all of you that loved Russ. John R. Moritz

I am greatly saddened to hear of Russ's passing. We had good times at Grand Valley and Wayne State, and it was always a pleasure to hear from Russ and what was going on in Holland and Grand Rapids. I will miss him.
