Not sure what to say?

He was an intense and good principal during my elementary years. He would even play in pick-up football games with us kids in the snow in the field across the street from the old elem. school in Wind Gap.

My father, sons and I had the honor of singing with Russ for many, many years. He was a fine and gentle man, and always managed to keep us on key and lead our section. We had some great conversations about his time with PASD. He will be missed, and we wish the family good memories and God's blessings.

Russ was a wonderful human being, I was proud to have known him and Jean.

What an amazing life Russ has had. Ed had so much love and respect for him. I am sure they are singing and making beautiful music together up in heaven.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Russ. I met Russ while participating in the festival of harmony shows. Later, my family transferred to Hope UCC. I joined the choir, which Russ directed. Years later, Russ directed the newly formed chime choir. That is when my eyesight started to fail, and Russ went out of his way to enlarge my music so I could still play. He was a great man and I have a lot of great memories. Rest in peace Russ.

So sorry for your loss. Russ And a group of guys tried golfing together. May the "Big" guy above give him his first " Ace". RIP Russ

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Dear Roper Family,
It was my honor to work for Mr Roper for many years. Very soft spoken and yet only had to say things once. I always had the utmost respect for him as an administrator and a friend. A devoted family man and To Jean - the saying holds true” behind every good man is a good wife!” That you certainly were Jean. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. What a beautiful reunion it will be for him with Tim.
