I was sorry to hear of Russ's passing, we were not close friends but we played summer baseball for & at Hankerd Hills many years ago at the ball field where the restaurant now stands. I recall seeing many a ball disapear into the woods in deep right field from his powerful bat. I have many times wondered where he was & doing what.
