Not sure what to say?

To the Stahl family. So sorry to hear of Russ´s passing. I hadn´t talked to him in years but just ran into him recently. The same old Russ that I knew. We had lots of fun times at work and out. Especially remember all those late night card games. Rest In Peace Brother..

There are so many fond memories of Russ, I couldn't begin to mention them all. Whether it was through our love of music, musicians, work or fishing; with fishing becoming our passion for over 35 years. We have both lost so much and yet united with our other great friends were able to make some tough times into loving and joyful times, with stories that the rest of the world will never know! We still cannot wrap our heads around why you were chosen, however we do see a very happy spirit in...

Russ was a man who was hard not to like; friendly, fun-loving, cheerful, a good person to call friend. And for the many years that we listened to and played music together out on Ghost Town Road, he was probably the closest and best friend I ever had. He introduced me to Jimmy Buffett, and that was the beginning of a beautiful relationship that included attending a number of concerts with Reggie and Lora, my wife. He was a true Slopoke to the very end, and will be dearly missed by all who...

Sorry to hear about Russell. Lost contact with him most of our adult lives. My mother was one of the 3 sisters to Harold Stahl. I was to the Arlington farm many times as as child. In 2020 during the covid pandemic we took a drive and saw how the farm home had been improved through the years. It seems that our generation if dwindling rather fast. May your memories carry you through this difficult time.

I worked with Russ at Whirlpool and back in 1973 bought a motor cycle from him that had a very neat mural on the sportster tank of a polar bear. I tuned a piano several times for Russ and enjoyed him playing his steel guitar. He ALWAYS had a smile and a wave when I'd see him in the factory. Great guy!
