Since our first meeting 55 years ago as Freshman and SAE Fraternity brothers at Boston University, we have shared a special bond. Even as we lived 3000 miles apart, we celebrated birthdays 2 days apart and visited each other's home whenever the opportunity presented itself. Russ was very instrumental in helping me to further develop my career. He was funny and caring, and really cared deeply about people. His impact will live on, like the ripples from a pebble dropped in a pond.
