You were a helluva nice guy and you will be sorely missed by our entire family. You really came a long way in your life, and I gained a huge respect for you on how well you did. I trusted you with my children and you never violated that trust, that is the sign of an honorable man. You had a hard life and now it is time for you to rest. God Bless you my friend and may you forever rest in peace.

I miss you soo much dad. I know you are here with me and always will be. God called you home too soon.

Here's a story I wanted to share with you. Russ and I would go fishing at this private pond about a mile from his parents cabin. I had this old rod and reel and usually with the first cast I would end up with a gigantic tangle. So while I spent most of the time working on my reel Russ would be filling up the stringer. When we got back to the cabin he always said that "we" caught the fish. A small word but it showed his big heart. Take care. Ray Abate
