Not sure what to say?

Burt was a true mentor during the time that I worked at Grady. I looked at him like a father figure because he was kind, gentle and very Regal. I will miss you Burt. Liz, please accept my condolences. Fruh Achu (AKA Naomi Achu). Silver Spring, MD.

Burt was the kind of person who leaves a foot print in your life. He was a selfless man who enjoyed helping others and sincerely cared about someone’s best interests. Burt had a unique personality but once you got to know Burt it was clear that he was someone with integrity, honesty, loyalty, compassion, dedication and would be a true friend to you till the end! For some Burt was their true love, amazing father, strong son, great brother, mentor and friend. For me Burt was someone very...

Burt was one of my first mentors at Grady. I have many fond memories of him. I learned so much from him and I could always count on Burt to stand up for me. Liz, I am so sorry for your much, much, much too soon loss.

He was the best man I ever knew. He made me a better person. We shared life for a brief time and we share the best of both of us in Katie. Thank you for touching our lives, you will always be thought of with love.

Burt came into my life when i was 7 years old, he was the greatest second dad a girl could ever have. I say "second dad" instead of step dad because there was never any step involved in Burts love for me or mine for him. From the day we became family he embraced me and loved me as if i was his own child. I will never forget the love and care he gave me or all the memories we made together as a family.
