A Very pleasant man ,always easy to talk too, myself and wife miss him dearly.

May God wrap his loving arms around you all and hold you close, may you hear the love of God in the voices that comfort you, and my the memory of Russ bring you joy and strength to continue the legacy of love he began for you all.

Dear Pat and Family
My deepest sympathy to you all, there is no way i can write all the wonderful memory accumalted in a live time.
Pat you and Russ were my second parent and wonderful role models, you taught me the gift of live, love and happiness.
To all my brothers and sister, i know your hearts are heavy and sad, but the worderful memories of your dad will help you all thought this sad time.
I wish I could express what my heart feel at this time. What a wonderful man...

Before we were married, Joyce and I dated. Once, while picking her up, it was very cold outside.
Russ, noticing I was not wearing a hat, insisted I take a knit cap to keep warm. "Keep it", he said. "You're going to need it!"
I have kept, and worn, that hat all these years. It was the start of the many kind and generous things he did for us and our family.

You have always been, and always will, be loved by all who have met you.

We are sad to lose you, but know...

Joyce,
Though I did not know your father, I can tell he was a very special person. My prayers are for you, your family and friends during this time. The Lord's mercies are new every morning and things will get better as time progresses. I encourage you, your family and friends to remember the good times you shared with him and I know he will be missed.

Joyce,
With sincere sympathy to you and your family.

Joyce,
My prayer is that you and your family will embrace the many laughs and fun memories you have of your Dad. Also, that God grant you the comfort and Peace as you celebrate your Dad's Home going. Remember that Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot Bare.

Joyce, my heartfelt prayers are with you and your family as you go through this journey. I know you all will miss Mr. Townsend, dearly. I pray that God will grant you peace and comfort as you celebrate his life, for he was truely blessed among men.

Hi Pat,
I worked with you in Admitting at Mercy. My sympathy to you and your family for the loss of your husband.
