Not sure what to say?

My wife Cornelia and I met and served with Rusty And Betty at Presque Isle Air Force Base, Maine in the late 1950's. Rusty and I were in B Flight of the 75th Fighter Interceptor Squadron flying the Northrop F-89 Scorpion aircraft. At that time, Preque Isle had a population of about 9,000, one movie theatre, one bowling alley and one TV station that was only on from about 5:00-10:00PM M-F. Our squadron members became close good friends on and off duty. We generated our own entertainment during...

Family was every thing to Uncle Rusty. He always found time to check in on Barbara (Grover's (Bulkhead) widow). We regret we will not be able to attend due to Barbara's health. Rusty's presence will be missed on so many levels but will remain in our hearts.

Rusty was a great and patient teacher.. He was a lot of fun to work with and always had something to say about everything.. I worked with Him at Chromalloy.. I worked with him from 1997 till he retired.. It was nice to work with him and to learn from him.. I was in Quality but often volunteered to work in shipping to help build crates.. He has been thought of often and prayers were always made for him.. He had a unique quality about him.. He tolerated a lot of things that went on and to watch...

Please accept my condolences

We were lucky to meet and serve with Rusty & Betty at both Presque Isle and Bangor Maine. We remained friends for all these years since I met him in 1957. He and Betty hosted a "new citizen party" for my wife in Bangor in 1966.
