Suzanne & Family: I've known Russell as a collector for about 20 years. We've done business through the years, but became friends as time went by. He was a real nice guy. I marveled at his knowledge about the things he collected and the movies he enjoyed. I enjoyed hearing stories about the motel he was working at before he became disabled, and he enjoyed hearing stories about when my son worked in a motel. I was fortunate enough to reconnect with Russell in the hospital on Dec. 26th. I had not seen Russell since graduation from WHS, over 30 yrs. ago. Russ remembered EVERYTHING from our school days, including the SS France Ship I traveled on when I was 12 yrs. old. He knew more about that ocean liner than the crew that worked on it! Russell was a unique individual and had a memory bank that was always full. Sorry Russ didn't make it to his 50th birthday as he wanted but he can stay 49 forever...
