Not sure what to say?

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Russ Wolfe was a prominent fixture of all that was good about Colorado Springs when I was growing up. We spent many wonderful evenings at the Flying W--Russ was always a gracious and lively host. Although I didn't know of his service during WWII, it hardly surprises me that it was valiant and selfless, nor does it surprise me that he never made much of it with us youngsters. Such were the men of the Greatest Generation. He will be missed by all, but we know he will be in great company now...

A wonderful hero. Brother of my good friend Rosie. Enjoyed knowing him and his family. His Mother was my second Mother growing up and I enjoyed hearing her talk about Sonny and his success at the Flying W and knowing some of his children.

Russ Wolfe was on our Dist 20 school board many, many years while I was teaching social studies at the Junior High. He was a classy gent and we all benefitted by his wisdom.

I met Russ and Marian as a little kid when my dad, Guthrie Packard, was looking for a place for his company, Shepard Citations employee annual party. Dad helped the Wolfes get started in the business. First stage that I remember was a piece of plywood with a couple of cowboys singing. The good old days. Great memories!

In Loving Memory Arrangement

What a great man as well as his late wife. I worked at the Flying W when I was junior in high school back in 1976! I cried the night it burned. But what an opportunity and a perfect summer it was to work there and have such wonderful memories. My sincere condolences to the family.
