Not sure what to say?

I apologize for the lateness of this note. I was shocked when I read of Rusty's death. I taught both he and Melissa at Kings Mtn. and I must say that he was a true example of an ideal young man. The last time I saw him, he was working at the hospital so I did not know that he had gone into education. It is a great loss for all that might have encountered him anywhere, but especially in the field of education. He always had such a positive spirit. May you find peace in God's love.

Mr McAbee was a wonderful educator, he made a difference in the lives of all four of my children. He was always willing to go that extra mile, he made me feel that he understood my children and would always be there to assist not only them but me. I have never had an administrator show that level of care, he was one of a kind and he will be missed.

It's been a long time since seeing Rusty but if he was anything like he was when we were in youth together at Second Baptist then he was a great person. My prayers to the family.

What a great service today for Rusty, we should all leave such a positive legacy.
