Mrs. Ruth Elizabeth Bagwell Bolding, 96, wife of the late James Wyatt "Jim" Bolding, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2021 at her home. Born in Easley, a daughter of the late Joseph Seaborn Bagwell and the late Janie Inez Cantrell Bagwell, Mrs. Bolding was a graduate of Easley High School and attended Draughon's Business College. She was a former secretary at Retail Credit Co., a homemaker and a member of Mountain View Baptist Church, Six Mile. Ruth loved gardening, crafts, and making porcelain dolls, but her greatest love was for her family, and being a faithful and supportive wife to her late husband, Jim. Surviving are a sister, Nelle Bagwell Taylor of Greer; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Bolding was predeceased by five brothers, Edward Davis, Joseph, Austin, John and Dean Bagwell; two sisters, Emily Sue Gilstrap and Evelyn B. Williams; and two sisters-in-law, Lillian Crenshaw and Kathleen Byrd. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at Mountain View Baptist Church, Six Mile. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM Wednesday at the church, prior to the service. Family members are at their respective homes. The family would like to express their gratitude to Audrey Lambert and Sherrie Benfield for the love and care they have provided for Mrs. Bolding.
