My thoughts and prayers are with you, Laurie and Betsy. Your mom was always such a good friend to my mom and such a delightful person to be with. I remember her joking at my wedding that she didn't know which side of the sanctuary to sit on -- because she was related to both the bride and the groom.

I had the pleasure of working with Ruthie on the Academic Scholarship Committee at Jewish Philanthropies for several years. She was a wonderful lady and a very compassionate person. My deepest sympathy to you and your family during this difficult time.
