I sit here between tears and giggles as I read of Ruth's passing. Tears because of the loss of a wonderful and special woman and friend. And giggles as I remember all the fun times with Ruth and Mike. We became one another's "black tie friends" attending events, galas, and fundraisers together. Always smiling. Always smiling. You have my deep sympathy . I knew Ruth from the mid 1960s when we were both adoption workers at Boys and Girls Aid Society. She was a dedicated professional and made me feel welcomed when I joined the staff just out of Graduate School. Blessings to all of you who loved her.
