Read MoreI was sad to hear of Ruth's passing. I remember her as being a prayer warrior and someone who actively served on the staff of the Degage ministry while she was in college. She had a heart for the Lord and wanted others to come to know him as well.

I feel so honored to have know Ruth. Ruth and Wes opened the doors of their cottage to us many times, and each of those occasions were filled with her characteristic hospitality, generosity, thoughtfulness and grace. She loved so well and shared that love lavishly. She was so easy to talk to and I always felt cared for in our conversations. I remember feeling comfortable with her right away the first time we met, like she was an old friend. I will miss her.
