Pat, Dick, Mary K,and Greg, I just learned of the passing of your mom. I am so sorry it was too late to attend her services. Ms Ruth was so much a part of the Seghers family early years, and my mom's life even before that! She and Ms Rose were such a support system for mom! They were all such strong,smart ladies who handled every obstacle along the way. My sincere condolences to you all! May we all celebrate the fond memories!

We will miss Miss Ruth on Thursday mornings at St. Pius. She didn't speak often, but when she did, her words were so powerful and inspirational. She will be in our prayers.

Ruth was like a God mother to me,
She strengthened my Faith by her stoic acceptance of the trials of life.She had an indefatigable spriit.......Still we laughed a lot

I plan to have a Latin Mass said for her at OUR Lady of Grace in Kenner.
