My life was forever changed by Ruth´s kindness and faith. She was always there for me during many of my trials and triumphs. I am so glad to know I have many pieces she had made for my family and I. From a patriotic quilt from when my husband was deployed, a pillow that says "love never fails" for our wedding, a quilt for our little boy for my baby shower, and numerous burp cloths she made after our little boy was born. My deepest condolences to Ruth's family. When we first met Devin was still riding on her hip, Brent and Jordan trailing along. We developed a friendship and shared many deep conversations about life, always over a fresh cup of coffee. I'm saddened to think I'm unable to be there for Ruth's service I remember when her family moved to Watkins Hill Rd as a young girl. She and my younger sister became fast friends and doon Ruth became another one of my parents girls. She is and always will be an extended family member. One of my favorite memories is when my sister, Kate and Ruth Ann would walk through the cow slop out back of the barn having it ooze between their toes then hose off in the milklhouse.
