Ruth M. Casey

I had the pleasure of getting to know Ruth during the past few years at the Elmira Senior Center. She often was funny and wise at the same time. Ruth was truly fun to spend time with, and shared some of her love for her family and friends with us. I have been thinking of Ruth and I am sorry that I could not get to the funeral. I lived next to Ruth for about 9 years until she had to go to a home. She was so nice to us. She loved my dog, Lady Blue. Ruth would come to our fence and give her treats. Lady loved Ruth too. She was the quietest neighbor we ever had. She was the nicest neighbor we have ever had. She loved our Rodadendron Bush. She would take pictures of it in the Early Summer.
