Not sure what to say?

It was a privilege to work with Ruth as a volunteer in the hospice-related program at the Springfield VNA, then to coordinate the Alzheimer program with which she was also closely associated. Ruth was a compassionate and dignified lady, in the proper sense of the word, and she retained that dignity and grace to the end.
My sympathy to Bob and family on your loss.

Bob - we were neighbors on Abbott Street. You and your Mom were wonderful neighbors to us Trelease boys. So sorry to hear of her passing. My memory of her has always been of a very nice and classy lady. On behalf of the Trelease boys our deepest sympathy and a big thank you for being wonderful neighbors back in the day.

Sarah,
So sorry to hear of your grandmother's passing. You and your family are in my heart and prayers during this difficult time.

Bob:

I'm sorry to read of your mother's passing.

Best wishes to you and your family.

I was a volunteer with Ruth at the then called Springfield VNA, Voluntary Care Giver program. I have wonderful memories of Ruth and the beautiful and selfless way she cared for the dying and their families. Edith Dorang, the then Director of the program and I were recently talking about Ruth and our fond memories of her. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to know Ruth.
