Not sure what to say?

I send my sympathy to the family of Mrs. Dillon. It's amazing to see how many lives she touched. I was the last of my 3 brothers and sister to be a student of Mrs. Dillon's. Everyone mentions the discipline she insisted on. I remember my classmates whispering about her legendary past job as an "Army Sergeant" or some equivalent! I'm sure many former Annunciation students like me were touched by her "tough love" approach and became better students, better adults, (and even better Army...

My family and I extend our sympathies to the Dillon/Swabb families. Mrs. Dillon was an inspiration for proper behavior and composure as a 6th grader would learn of these through a teacher's demeanor; and yet, she had room for a smile and hearty laugh. Thank you, Mrs. Dillon, and goodbye.

We were saddened to hear of Ruth's death. Our families (Nee and Link)want to extend our sympathy to the family. My sisters and I all attended Annunciation grade and high school and we remember all the exciting basketball games that Ruth and Gert Guckert played in and won.
My brother attnded Annuncation grade school as did my eight children. They have some fond memories of Mrs.Dillon. She was a wonderful teacher. We are sorry to hear of your loss and will remember all of you in our...

my deepest sympathies to the Schwab/Dillon Families. Mrs Dillon was the kind of teacher that left a lasting impact on all her students. I'll never forget her. Rest in peace Mrs. Dillon.

To the Schwab/Dillon Family;
I was stunned when my daughter, Tracy, left me a message about "Mrs. Dillon" passing away tonight (3/9/04.) I wish I had known earlier to pay my respects to the family. My memories about Ruth go back to my high school days when I played high school basketball at "wonderfully special" Annunciation! Ruth & Mary Lou (Hurley)Corcoran were my coaches. Never in my wildest dreams did I think she would one day teach my children at the same school - Annunciation! Of...

Dave:
My deepest sympathies to the Schwab
family. I will keep you in my prayers.

Your classmate and friend from Annunciation / Perry

My deepest sympathies to the Schwab / Dillon families. Mrs. Dillon was one of the Greats for Annunciation school. She always reffered to me as "smiles"...even on my down days. Her style of education made an enormous impact on my life. Ruth had the unique ability to make every lesson fun and lasting. She will be sadly missed. Please take heart in knowing, that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Jake, Donna,Dave,Danny and family members,
Our deepest sympathies are extended to all of you in regards to Ruth's death. Ruth was a respected teacher, disciplinarian and a kind hearted person to be with. I know she missed Joe all these years, now they both share in the light. Take consolation in the fact that her legacy remains in each and every student that passed through room "401". She will be missed by many. God Bless.

John Ungerman Family

I was so sorry to hear that Ruth passed away. Be assured of my prayers for her and the Schwab Family. Ruth was always one of my favorites. I fondly recall many memories of her from my days at Annunciation. She was upbeat, joyful, full of fun and loved to share a good story. She always had time for everyone. There wasn’t a time when I visited home that she didn’t go out of her way to say hello and ask how I was doing, especially once I became a teacher. She was one of the best!! God Bless you,...
