She will never be forgotten! Such an elegant, kind and wise lady. She was the head of the Housekeeping Department when I was Director of Nursing and ARNP in CRISTA Skilled Nursing and when I was Administrator at Cristwood Park, she volunteered to cover the Main Desk at the lunch hour. It was a delight to take her a cup of tea in an English cup each time she was there. What a history with her war time secret work and her knowledge of French and German! She was adored by all of us. I was fascinated watching a special on TV about Bletchley Park and "The Girls" who worked there. I was reminded of Ruth Dunlop--a resident of Cristwood Park in Shoreline--and the day she was able to tell us of her work breaking German codes in WWII. It was a secret she had to keep for 30 years--even from her family! As Administrator in the senior community in which she lived, I loved to stay around at the lunch hour where she volunteered to be the Receptionist at the Main Desk, just to...
