Ruth and her husband Frank, as I allways think of them together, were the warmest and most caring people I have ever known. They taught me what it is to be "good people" and for me were the best people I have ever known. Anyone who ever stopped by their house knew this very quickly as they were made to feel welcome, would never leave feeling hungry and would always be made to feel at home. Most of my best memories growing up have the Ecks in them. I hope to keep them in my heart always.
